This one of a kind brooch has been inspired by mark-making with stitch.
 
Textured with fabric and subtly shaped to replicate material. The oxidised silver 'fabric' has been adorned with the herringbone stitch using green sashiko thread for a pop of colour.
 
The herringbone stitch resembles the bones of a herring fish's spine.
 
This brooch measures approximately 36mm square.
